Gajender has recently joined Tourism Economics to work in the domain of data management, process development, analytics and visualization. He has over 5 years of experience in the retail industry working in multiple roles and enabling marketing and operations team to make data-driven decisions.He has worked extensively in the past in the domain of customer segmentation, and clustering based on their buying behavior and demographics and thereby helping brands of Aditya Birla Group to connect to different segments of their consumers. He developed an ML algorithm to predict units sold by a new product after its launch, which provided a head start to the marketing team to change their promotional and go to market strategies. Gajender received an MS in Business Analytics & Information Management from Purdue University. He also possesses a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Punjab Technical University and a Masters in Fashion Management from National Institute of Fashion Technology.
