Micaela Nardino

Micaela joined Tourism Economics in June 2023 as a Project Coordinator for the Symphony team. Her primary focus is on the onboarding of new clients and ongoing connection with external data partners. 

Prior to this role, Micaela studied Sustainable Tourism and Environmental Science at NC State University, graduating with a BS in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management. 

During her time at NC State, Micaela served as an undergraduate research assistant, where she authored one of the first published Sustainable Tourism Case Studies from the university. Her research explored best practices for developing sustainable tourism workforce housing in established U.S. destinations. 

Micaela was awarded the Joan and John Markham award at the Marketing Outlook Forum in 2023 in recognition of her passion for the future of the travel industry.
