Head of Destination Studies

Kaitlin's responsibilities include managing and supporting a variety of economic impact studies for states, counties, and cities within the US.

Kaitlin DiPaola is Head of Destination Studies with Tourism Economics, as well as Director of Operations for the Americas. With over eight years of experience as a professional economist, and the last seven years in the tourism sector, Kaitlin leads the delivery of dozens of economic impact studies for US destinations. Kaitlin also supports clients with advocacy and communications based on TE economic analysis, including ongoing advisory and forecasting work with the U.S. Travel Association. As Director of Operations, Kaitlin organizes and oversees the daily operations for TE Americas.  

Prior to joining Tourism Economics in 2016, Kaitlin was an Economist at IHS (now S&P Global) on their US Regional Economics team. Kaitlin received a BA in Economist from Saint Joseph’s University, and an MS in Economics from Rutgers University.
