Matthew Dass

Senior Economist

Since joining Oxford Economics Matthew has built on his expertise in economic consultancy,​developing a specialty in economic impact assessments and cost-benefit analysis.

Matthew has completed impact studies across a wide range of sectors including: aviation, maritime, hospitality, manufacturing, defense and information and communication. 

 He has also been heavily involved in our work to assess the total economic value of various cultural and environmental assets. Previous clients include: the National Archives, the ARoS Art Museum in Aarhus, the British Library and the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

Other projects that Matthew has completed include analysing the impact of R&D support for the Centre for Process Innovation; a project for the Global Infrastructure Hub to forecast global infrastructure needs and labour market studies for the UK Commission for Employment and Skills and the Department for Transport.

Previously Matthew worked at KPMG, where he focused on winning and delivering economic consultancy work in key local, national and European markets. Matthew holds a first class economics degree from the University of Ulster.
