Dave Goodger

Dave Goodger leads the EMEA team in all tourism forecasting and economic impact analysis as Managing Director of Tourism Economics EMEA. He brings a wealth of experience to the role having been part of Oxford Economics since 2000 before joining Tourism Economics in 2007 to develop the global tourism forecast model which still underpins our global outlook based on economic drivers, and in reaction to geopolitical events. Dave now manages the team in forecasting global leisure and business travel flows for 185 countries and over 300 cities, including for detailed aviation and cruise activity. He also leads the team in exploring the impacts of major events and tourism sector activities across global destinations, including the impacts of destination development and investment. He regularly presents on the outlook, opportunities and risks for the tourism sector.
