Head of Destination Studies, Director of Operations

Kaitlin DiPaola is Head of Destination Studies and Director of Operations for the Americas at Tourism Economics. A senior consulting practice lead with over a decade of experience specializing in tourism and regional economies, she oversees the execution and team behind Tourism Economics’ portfolio of destination economic impact studies across the US and Canada. Her leadership and expertise guide and develop staff, shape economic analyses, and provide critical insights for industry stakeholders. Kaitlin is a trusted advisor to clients on communications and advocacy, including ongoing advisory and forecasting work with the U.S. Travel Association. She also oversees the operational and team strategy, efficiency, and day-to-day management of Tourism Economics, Americas. Before joining Tourism Economics in 2016, she was an Economist at IHS (now S&P Global) within its U.S. Regional Economics team. Kaitlin holds a BA in Economics from Saint Joseph’s University and an MS in Economics from Rutgers University.
