Zachary has nearly 20 years of experience as a professional economist, with the last ten focused on the travel industry. He joined Tourism Economics from Moody’s Analytics where he performed regional analysis for U.S. states and metropolitan areas, and a broad range of industry analyses. He contributed to written analysis and subscription-based products, conducted econometric and input-output impact modeling for public and private sector clients across industries. Prior to Moody’s Analytics, he worked as a Research Economist for a New England-based economics consulting firm, Economic & Policy Resources, Inc. At EPR he was as a consulting economist for the Governor’s Administration covering tax revenues, and a wide range of industry economic impact studies. Zachary holds an MS in Community Development and Applied Economics from the University of Vermont, and he is currently pursuing a PhD in Economics at the University of New Hampshire, with a research focus on international and environmental economics.
