Tourism Economics will provide an overview of the latest developments in the European travel sector and examine the key trends facing destinations heading into the summer.
In addition, Aoife Roche from STR, a CoStar company, will share insights on European performance YTD, focusing on supply and demand dynamics that are influencing country-level occupancy and ADR. Highlighting the strength of leisure destinations with some additional data on Spain performance in May; forward looking occupancy for the South showing some resilience for H2, albeit shortened booking windows are making it difficult to predict outcomes considering the environment we are operating in. Finishing with an overview on European market forecasts.
