Air Passenger Forecast Update: Impact of Iran War on Demand

In this webinar Tourism Economics and IATA will review the latest air passenger demand trends and outlook, and the macroeconomic backdrop which underpins the outlook.

We will give a special focus to the Iran war and the implications for macroeconomic demand and air passenger demand, particularly through squeezed crude oil and jet fuel supplies which are expected to linger for several months beyond the eventual cessation of hostilities. Alternative geopolitical and macroeconomic risks facing the industry and the demand impact should such risks materialise will also be discussed.
