Updated October 30, 2026Tourism Economics is expanding its Symphony Intelligence Platform internationally, introducing the solution to destination marketing and tourism organizations at World Travel Market (WTM) London this November.
Since its launch in 2019, Symphony has grown to serve more than 250 destinations and 3,000 users, helping tourism organizations bring fragmented data together and make more informed decisions.
For many destination teams, the challenge is not a lack of data. It’s finding the time and resources to connect different sources, identify meaningful trends, and communicate results to key stakeholders. Symphony addresses these challenges through a ready-to-use intelligence platform that brings performance into one clear view, supported by dedicated insight managers who help turn data into direction.
“Over the past several years, we’ve seen Symphony become an important part of how destination teams operate, from day-to-day reporting to bigger strategic decisions,” said Chuck Davison, Vice President of Commercial Strategy and Partnerships. “Expanding internationally is a natural next step, and we’re looking forward to introducing the platform to a new group of destination leaders at WTM.”
The expansion comes as Tourism Economics continues to invest in Symphony’s capabilities, including new AI-powered tools in development.
“We’re continuing to innovate and invest in making Symphony more powerful and intuitive,” said Erik Evjen, Executive Vice President of Tourism Economics and founder of Symphony. “Our next phase includes AI integrations that will allow users to work with Symphony data through familiar AI tools, making it faster and easier for destinations to generate analyses and uncover insights.”
For Tourism Economics’ global team, WTM also presents an opportunity to engage with destination leaders across a range of international markets.
“One of the things that makes working across international markets so interesting is the range of priorities and challenges tourism organizations face,” said Becky Syder, Senior Director of Global Tourism. “We’re looking forward to learning more from destination leaders at WTM and exploring how Symphony can support the decisions that matter most to them.”
Tourism Economics will offer live Symphony demonstrations and meetings with destination leaders at WTM London.
